The M80 is an advanced autonomous survey vessel specifically engineered for oceanographic research. This platform, known as the M80B, is adept at executing high-performance surveys and is versatile enough to accommodate various equipment for tasks such as bathymetric mapping, waterway assessments, and maritime search and rescue operations.
Equipped with a robust diesel engine, the vessel can navigate in Sea State 3 conditions, reaching a maximum speed of 12 knots and maintaining operational capabilities for up to 10 hours at a cruising speed of 6 knots. It features integrated radar and sonar systems to ensure safe navigation and obstacle detection.
This autonomous vessel is tailored to support T50P and T20P multi-beam echo sounders, enhancing its surveying capabilities.
① Ample Capacity for Survey Instruments
The M80 USV is designed to transport up to 150 kg of hydrographic and geophysical instruments, making it ideal for comprehensive deep-sea surveys.
- Single-beam echo sounder
- Multi-beam echo sounder
- Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP)
- 3D LiDAR scanner
- Side-scan sonar
- Forward-looking sonar
- Water quality sensor
- Sub-bottom profiler
② Enhanced Endurance and Speed
- The USV can operate continuously for 50 hours with a fuel tank capacity of 350 liters.
- It can achieve speeds of up to 12 knots, thanks to its powerful water-jet propulsion system.
③ Superior Equipment Protection
Featuring an integrated automatic lifter, the M80 can raise and lower instruments based on its operational mode, thereby safeguarding transducers and optimizing energy consumption.
④ Autonomous Multi-Functional surveying
- Both the USV and its surveying instruments are managed from a central base station. Utilizing GNSS positioning, the vessel can autonomously execute pre-programmed survey missions while transmitting data in real-time.
- Operators also have the option to manually control the USV from a distance of up to 2 km using a remote control device.
⑤ Bright Collision Avoidance system
- Equipped with a 4G radar,high-definition camera,and LiDAR technology,the M80 USV excels in collision avoidance.
- users can monitor aquatic environments through real-time video feeds, enhancing obstacle navigation during manual operation.
