Sense Aeronautics stands at the forefront of AI-driven video analytics for UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), supported by the renowned Spanish R&D organization Gradiant. Our groundbreaking technology aims to enhance the autonomy of commercial drones, achieving unprecedented levels of scalability, profitability, and measurable outcomes.
Our offerings center around the automated, real-time analysis of drone video feeds, tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. This state-of-the-art software is perfect for drone manufacturers, fleet managers, and developers of drone management systems, and can be implemented on edge devices, ground control stations, or cloud infrastructures.
Our Distinctive Methodology
Our drone video analytics solutions leverage a unique blend of elements that offer numerous benefits for industry professionals aiming to enhance and expand their operations:
Cutting-edge AI and specialized datasets – our AI models are developed using high-quality data tailored to drone video feeds, addressing specific challenges such as vibrations, moving cameras, and varying backgrounds and lighting conditions.
Drone-centric technology – our technologies employ low-latency communication and adhere to industry-standard protocols, having undergone extensive testing across diverse operational scenarios, including edge, cloud, and local deployments.
Automated performance assessment – based on concrete operational KPIs for each model across all necessary scenarios and target outcomes, this feature allows for precise adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
With three deployment options—Edge, Local, and Cloud—we achieve a remarkable balance of performance and adaptability, revolutionizing the capabilities of small and medium drones.
Automated Target Identification
AI-driven real-time object detection and categorization
Our automated Target Recognition (ATR) system autonomously identifies and classifies points of interest in EO and IR video streams, yielding results that are quicker, more cost-efficient, and less prone to errors compared to human operators. the system is highly scalable, capable of managing multiple video streams, making it ideal for drone fleets and swarm operations.
The latest ATR technology allows for the extraction of telemetry data from drones, enhancing AI capabilities and enabling the provision of geolocation data for identified targets, facilitating their display on a map.
ATR can be deployed on the edge, and also in local, public, and private cloud environments.

Detection of Foreign Object Debris
Aerial FOD detection for roadways and runways

All detections are geo-localized for straightforward review and verification, with false alarms being automatically filtered out.The AI-driven software can be deployed on the drone, at the ground control station, or on either private or public cloud servers.

Collision avoidance System
Detecting non-collaborative aircraft for collision prevention
Our collision avoidance (DAA) system utilizes onboard EO and IR cameras to automatically identify non-collaborative aircraft near the drone, providing real-time alerts to facilitate collision avoidance. The system offers various logging options, including basic telemetry, health status, alarms, tracking data, and visual data. Typical detection ranges are 500 meters for a Matrice 600 drone and over 3 kilometers for a Cessna Skylane aircraft. Additionally, the software can process footage from a ground-based camera to monitor airspace and transmit detections via radio.
