These military-grade unmanned aircraft provide both military and civilian users with robust capabilities, ensuring optimal mission success even in low-light and adverse environmental conditions.
Teal 2
Blue UAS Quadcopter with High-Resolution Thermal Imaging
The Teal 2 is a cutting-edge quadcopter sUAS (small unmanned aerial system) designed, manufactured, and serviced in the USA, recognized as one of the platforms on the U.S. Department of Defense DIU Blue UAS list. Primarily intended for short-range reconnaissance, it is suitable for a variety of military and civilian applications, offering extraordinary value within its category.
Advanced Thermal Imaging Features
optimized for critical nighttime operations, the Teal 2 is outfitted with the sophisticated FLIR Hadron 640R EO/IR payload, which combines a 64MP visible camera with a radiometric 640 x 512 thermal imager. This advanced system allows for easy target identification and tracking, providing essential situational awareness even in total darkness.
- White hot – a dark screen to preserve night vision
- Black Hot – highlights body heat with clarity
- Hottest – ideal for high-contrast environments, firefighting, and leak detection
- Arctic – contrasts light against dark, facilitating quick heat source detection
- Ironbow – reveals heat distribution and subtle details, perfect for low-contrast settings
Future-Proof Modular Design
The Teal 2 features a modular design that allows for upgrades, ensuring the platform remains relevant as technology evolves. This modularity also facilitates quick changes to payloads and propulsion systems, simplifying repairs and reconfigurations in the field.
Applications
Red Cat Futures Initiative
We have established a consortium of robotics and autonomous systems (RAS) partners to harness agile growth and cutting-edge technologies, addressing the needs of government and military personnel. The Red Cat Futures initiative aims to enhance integration thru open architecture and interoperability, offering customers a range of options to customize their system purchases to meet specific requirements. This initiative also supports smaller vendors and developers, enabling them to compete effectively against larger enterprises.
