United Kingdom

ecoSUB Robotics stands at the forefront of innovative and affordable AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle) technology development. Our mission is to make marine autonomy and robotics accessible to a broader audience, with our vehicles tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients in scientific research, commercial ventures, and defense applications.

Overview of ecoSUB AUVs

ecoSUB AUVs ecoSUB AUVs are designed to be compact, lightweight, and easily transportable by a single operator, facilitating straightforward deployment and retrieval. These vehicles operate autonomously and require minimal logistical support, needing only a laptop for remote connections, enabling missions to be conducted globally without internet access. Additionally, ecoSUBs feature Wi-Fi and acoustic interaction for local networking. ecoSUB autonomous underwater vehicles The vehicles come with a customizable nosecone and payload bay, allowing for a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or bespoke sensors and payloads, such as 4K cameras, imaging sonars, precise navigation systems, and environmental sensors. The adaptable AUVs utilize hot-swappable alkaline or rechargeable NiMH batteries, which can be easily replaced in the field.

ecoSUBµ5

Micro-AUV rated for 500 meters

500 metre rated micro AUV Weighing only 4 kg and measuring 660 mm in length, the ecoSUBµ5 is our most compact AUV,perfect for carrying lightweight payloads like CT sensors, fluorometers, sound velocity probes,or hydrophones. It can dive to depths of 500 meters and operate for up to 12 hours on a single charge. This economical platform is ideal for large-scale deployments and extensive data collection, with the capability to network multiple units for swarm operations.

ecoSUBm5, ecoSUBm10 & ecoSUBm25

Small AUVs rated for 500, 1000 & 2500 meters

ecoSUBm5 500m rated Small AUV The ecoSUBm series offers enhanced power and payload capacity compared to the ecoSUBµ5, weighing 12 kg and measuring 1 meter in length. it can accommodate various payloads and is ideal for deploying a range of scientific or survey sensors. The ecoSUBm series supports edge computing capabilities, making it suitable for extensive data collection and swarm operations, available in 500, 1000, and 2500-meter rated versions.
