The PLANET 9770 UAV-F terminal merges the dependability of the Iridium Certus 100 satellite service with the rapid data transfer capabilities of 5G, offering an unparalleled level of global connectivity for UAVs. It supports native IP connectivity with midband throughput (88kbps MT, 22kbps MO) in Certus mode and broadband speeds (up to 615 Mbps) in 4G/5G mode.

This adaptable connectivity solution can be fitted with either high- or low-profile antenna options and features an integrated GNSS receiver for precise positioning and timing, along with serial, ethernet, and Wi-Fi interfaces.

UAV SATCOM Terminal Featuring Iridium Certus 100

The PLANET 9770 UAV-L SATCOM terminal offers robust satellite connectivity for UAVs through the Iridium certus 100 service, providing native IP connectivity with up to 22 kbps throughput MO (from the aircraft) and 88 kbps MT (to the aircraft).

This compact and lightweight device includes Ethernet and serial interfaces, SSD storage, and an integrated GNSS receiver for autonomous location and timing. It can be supplied with either low- or high-profile antennas, requiring no ground plane for installation.

Durable SATCOM Terminal for Certified UAVs

FTI terminalThe PLANET 9770 FTI (Flight Test Instrument) Terminal is designed for the development of new drone platforms and can be seamlessly integrated into both rotary and fixed-wing UAVs. It offers global midband connectivity through the Iridium Certus 100 service, with throughput capabilities of up to 22 kbps MO (from the aircraft) and 88 kbps MT (to the aircraft).

Equipped with two Ethernet and two serial interfaces for connecting external sensors and devices, the terminal also features an integrated GNSS receiver for autonomous location and timing. It utilizes a low-profile passive antenna and is currently in the process of obtaining DO-160 qualification.

UAV SATCOMThe PLANET 9523 is a lightweight UAV communication terminal that leverages both Iridium SATCOM services and terrestrial cellular networks. Functioning as a worldwide mobile router, it ensures vital connectivity and real-time data exchange for autonomous and BVLOS drones.

This terminal can interface with external devices via Ethernet, serial, or an optional Wi-Fi module, and includes an integrated GNSS receiver for autonomous location and timing.

OEM Board for UAV SATCOM & LTE Connectivity

Satellite connectivity solutionsThe PLANET 9523 TC06 Board is an OEM solution that empowers manufacturers and systems integrators to equip UAVs with LTE and satellite connectivity. It features a 9523N Iridium modem and a Telit cellular modem with SIM card holders, along with an SD card slot for up to 512GB of data storage.

This board facilitates IP connectivity with QoS management across Iridium and cellular networks. It supports data rates of up to 50 Mbps with LTE and 2.4 kbps with iridium, and multiple boards can be interconnected for enhanced throughput. A variant without LTE is also available.
