The UP12 is a 12-inch propeller designed for industrial sUAS, optimized for use with the Vertiq 23-06 2200Kv propulsion module featuring pulsing firmware. Its innovative underactuated variable-pitch design includes a hub with a 45-degree hinge at the center of mass and two blades connected via flapping hinges, allowing it to generate thrust and also roll and pitch torques.
This design provides three degrees of freedom with a single motor and propeller, enhancing efficiency and simplifying propulsion systems, paving the way for entirely new UAV designs.
