Autonomous Control Systems (Autopilot Solutions)
Lightweight and Modular Autopilot Systems for Drones
The Autonomous Control System (AP) serves as the hardware and control abstraction layer for the host platform, facilitating fully autonomous operations. All flight functions, including take-off,landing,navigation,and mission execution, can be initiated with a single keystroke. Diagnostics, mission planning, and remote control are all achievable wirelessly.
A standout feature of the AP is its distributed architecture. each system component is equipped with a dedicated microcontroller that facilitates data exchange and communication over the CAN bus. This decentralized setup alleviates the load on the central processor by distributing routine management tasks across all components. furthermore, there are no limitations on the number of identical modules that can be connected to a single system, allowing for redundancy at all levels. The AP can accommodate nearly all payloads or ready-made third-party modules.
