Strategic Alliance to Introduce UAV micro Turbines in the U.S. Market
UAV Propulsion Tech has established a partnership with AMT-Advanced Micro Turbines, based in Geldrop, Netherlands, to introduce their cutting-edge micro turbine technology to the U.S. unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector.

Innovative Engine designs for Advanced UAV Applications
AMT’s Titan, Nike, and Lynx engines are engineered for high-speed target drones and sophisticated UAV operations. These engines utilize AMT’s proprietary axial flow turbine design, which ensures notable thrust-to-weight ratios, minimal fuel consumption, and swift acceleration.
Compatible with Jet A1, JP5, JP8, or diesel fuels, these turbines operate without the need for a separate lubrication system. The thrust capabilities of AMT’s turbines range from 230 to 1569 Newtons (51.7 to 352.7 lbf), with the Lynx turbine, in production since 2018, leading the pack in thrust performance.
Expanding Global Reach in UAV Technology
UAV propulsion Tech is currently representing multiple international firms, delivering advanced technology and hardware solutions to both defense and commercial UAV sectors.
Bob Schmidt, the CEO and founder of UAV Propulsion Tech, has been engaged with UAV engine manufacturers and clients as 2003, bringing extensive experience to the partnership.
Founded in 1991, AMT has been a pioneer in turbine manufacturing as 1995, with its Pegasus gas turbine first launched in 1994, known for its reliability and performance.

Transitioning to Advanced Solutions for UAVs
Since 1995, AMT has been at the forefront of micro turbine advancement, evolving from a provider of RC turbines to a supplier of solutions for commercial, defense, and academic applications involving target drones and advanced UAVs.
bob Schmidt expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “I am thrilled to partner with Bennie and Anita van de Goor to introduce their exceptional micro turbines to the U.S. UAV market, addressing the increasing demand for counter-UAS and high-speed UAV solutions.”
“Integrating AMT’s micro turbine technology into UAV Propulsion Tech will enable us to continue offering top-tier UAV hardware solutions. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with AMT to deliver their propulsion technologies to the expanding U.S. micro turbine market.”
Bennie van de Goor, CEO and founder of AMT Netherlands, remarked, “We sought a partnership with UAV Propulsion Tech due to their extensive experience in the U.S. propulsion and UAV markets.
“UAV Propulsion Tech is an ideal collaborator to enhance our market presence and introduce our solutions to their growing U.S. UAV clientele.
“Bob’s background as a mechanical engineer and his understanding of propulsion market needs will enable us to deliver and further refine world-class micro turbine solutions that meet demanding specifications.”
