Strategic Partnership to Enhance UAV solutions in the U.S. Market

UAV Propulsion Tech, a private entity representing various global manufacturers of UAV technologies, has entered into a partnership with MicroPilot to promote their range of autopilot systems within the U.S. UAV sector.

MicroPilot: A Leader in UAV Autopilot Manufacturing

MicroPilot specializes in creating professional-grade autopilots for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and boasts a clientele of over 850 customers across more than 70 nations. Established in 1994, the company provides a diverse array of lightweight autopilot solutions suitable for fixed-wing, transitional, helicopter, and multi-rotor UAVs. Their offerings include board-mounted, enclosed, and triple-redundant autopilots, along with HORIZON Ground Control Software, True Hardware-in-the-Loop (trueHWIL) simulators, and XTENDER software for autopilot customization. UAV Propulsion Tech has been chosen by MicroPilot to facilitate the introduction of these innovative solutions into the expanding U.S. UAV market.

Insights from Industry Leaders

howard Loewen, the founder and president of MicroPilot, remarked, “The UAV industry is experiencing rapid growth in the U.S. each year. Partnering with UAV Propulsion tech as our representative for MicroPilot’s autopilots will considerably enhance our reach in this burgeoning market.” He further emphasized the importance of their MP21283X triple-redundant autopilot, stating that it will enable both defense and commercial UAV operators to safeguard their valuable aerial vehicles and payloads by enhancing autopilot reliability—an increasingly critical factor as the FAA formulates regulations for the commercial UAV sector.

Bob Schmidt, founder and president of UAV Propulsion Tech, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Integrating MicroPilot’s autopilot line, especially the triple-redundant solution, will broaden our product offerings in the U.S. UAV market. This will allow us to deliver solutions that enhance the performance, functionality, and reliability of UAVs.” He added, “I envision UAV Propulsion Tech as the go-to destination for defense and commercial UAV developers seeking cutting-edge propulsion, servo, autopilot, and parachute solutions.”
