Red Cat Holdings to Supply Advanced Drones to Ukraine
Red Cat Holdings is set to deliver a significant order of 200 high-speed, long-range First-Person View (FPV) drones to Ukrainian drone operators, with shipments scheduled for June 2023.
Unmatched Performance in Challenging Conditions
The drones being provided boast the highest power-to-weight ratio available in the industry, enhancing their agility, especially when utilized with FPV technology. These advanced FPV drones are capable of operating effectively in environments where GPS signals are either unavailable or disrupted, making them ideal for complex battlefield scenarios.
Commitment to Support Ukrainian Forces
“we are blessed to have the manufacturing capabilities in the US to meet such urgent demands,” stated Jeff Thompson, CEO of Red Cat. “We are excited to support Ukrainian drone pilots and are eager to continue our collaboration, especially with the introduction of our latest nighttime drone, the Teal 2. A significant portion of drone operations occurs after dark, and the Teal 2 is designed to excel in nighttime conditions.”
Introducing the Teal 2: Nighttime Operations redefined
Launched just last month, the Teal 2 is engineered to ‘Dominate the Night™’ and features the cutting-edge Hadron 640R sensor from Teledyne FLIR. This technology delivers high-resolution thermal imaging in a compact (Group 1) design, specifically optimized for nighttime missions. Red Cat has partnered with several technology leaders, including Athena AI, Reveal Technology, and Tomahawk Robotics, to enhance the capabilities of the Teal 2.
