SBG Systems Unveils Enhanced firmware for ellipse Series Sensors

SBG Systems, a prominent name in high-performance inertial navigation technology, has announced a meaningful firmware update for its Ellipse series sensors.

This latest update incorporates the newest World Magnetic Model (WMM), which boosts the precision and dependability of navigation systems. All Ellipse sensors, including earlier models, can access this upgrade, highlighting SBG Systems’ dedication to ongoing advancements in unmanned navigation technology.

The Ellipse series is designed with compact,high-accuracy inertial sensors that are perfect for various unmanned applications,such as UAVs,UGVs,and marine vehicles. These sensors come equipped with integrated three-axis magnetometers that gauge the earth’s magnetic field, providing precise heading and positioning information.

By embedding this model into the Ellipse sensors, SBG Systems substantially improves the reliability of magnetometer outputs, thereby enhancing navigation accuracy across diverse operational settings.
