Introducing EIZO’s Latest Rugged LCD Monitors for Unmanned Systems
EIZO Rugged solutions has unveiled an extraordinary lineup of rugged commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) LCD monitors, featuring three new models: the Talon RGD3202W (32-inch), RGD2802 (28-inch), and RGD2102W (21.5-inch). these monitors are specifically engineered for military-grade applications, making them perfect for ground control stations (GCS) of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and control centers for unmanned surface vessels (USVs).
Built for Extreme Conditions
Designed to withstand harsh environments, these monitors boast a range of rugged features, including optional sunlight readability, integrated heaters, and water resistance rated at IP65. Additionally, they are equipped with conformal coatings to safeguard internal components. Each model undergoes rigorous testing for vibration, shock, altitude, and extreme temperature conditions, ensuring compliance with military standards such as MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461.
High-Performance display Options
The RGD3202W model offers a 32-inch display with a stunning 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), allowing for the detailed visualization of complex rugged applications across a large screen. This model supports multiple input sources together, enabling operators to monitor various applications on a single display, thus centralizing critical facts for enhanced situational awareness.
Simultaneously occurring, the RGD2802 features a unique 28-inch square design with a resolution of 2K x 2K (2048 x 2048). This model is especially suited for military and UAV control centers, effectively showcasing radar and othre high-resolution visual data. Its customizable housing and square format make it easy to integrate into existing console setups.
For environments that utilize night vision equipment, the RGD2102W offers a 21.5-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080) with optional NVIS (Night Vision Imaging System) support. EIZO manages the NVIS production process internally, ensuring precise measurement and adjustment of display characteristics for each unit, in accordance with MIL-STD-3009. NVIS support is also available for other models in the Talon series.
