Introducing the TA1264: A Cutting-Edge Solution for counter-UAS Applications
Triad RF Systems has broadened its portfolio of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) wideband high-power amplifiers with the launch of the TA1264. This innovative, lightweight unit leverages advanced GaN transistor technology to meet the increasing demand for superior counter-unmanned aerial systems (UAS) solutions.
Compact Design Meets High Performance
Weighing a mere 16 ounces and measuring less than 4 inches on each side with a height of under 1 inch, the TA1264 boasts an extensive frequency range from 300 mhz to 6 ghz. It delivers extraordinary power density while maintaining optimal linearity and efficiency. Encased in a robust housing, this amplifier is engineered for dependable performance even in challenging environmental conditions, making it an excellent choice for critical electronic warfare applications. It can handle a variety of signal types, from basic continuous wave (CW) and frequency modulation (FM) signals to complex modulated carriers like 64 and 256QAM, suitable for software-defined radios (SDRs).
Streamlined System integration
The TA1264 is part of Triad RF’s family of wideband high-power amplifiers, wich come equipped with internal wide input range (12-28VDC) DC-DC conversion sections. This feature simplifies system architecture by removing the necessity for external DC converters, enhancing overall efficiency. The internal converter is specifically designed to achieve peak efficiency at the amplifier’s operating current range. Additionally, these amplifiers include elegant built-in monitoring and control capabilities that can interface seamlessly with microprocessors, FPGAs, CPLDs, or a combination of these technologies. Key functionalities include temperature output, device-level DC monitoring, and power control across a range of frequencies.
