Transitioning from Wellness to Drone Technology
My journey into the tech world began long before I co-founded MINDBODY in 2001. I previously served as an officer on a nuclear submarine, worked as a licensed control room supervisor at a nuclear power facility, and managed programs for space launch support at Vandenberg Space Force Base.
These experiences taught me that operating complex technologies in high-pressure situations demands a well-trained team and impeccable operational protocols. Much like submarines and space systems, Inspired Flight’s drones undertake critical missions, often transporting valuable payloads.Ensuring thier safety and reliability is crucial, especially as we expand to manage fleets operating beyond visual line of sight for thousands of hours each year.
