Introducing the Advanced High Power NETNode phase 5 Mesh Radio

DTC Communications has unveiled an enhanced version of its NETNode Phase 5 IP Mesh radio, known as the Robust High Power (RH) model. This latest iteration of Phase 5 radios is equipped with integrated dual HD video encoders and Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology, achieving unprecedented data throughput and power output.

Designed for Critical Applications

The RH model is specifically engineered for essential communications in demanding environments where connectivity can be inconsistent or vulnerable. It boasts a total RF power output of up to 30W across two transmission ports, making it suitable for extensive long-range operations, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and secure airborne data transmission.

Versatile Frequency and Bandwidth Options

The netnode 5 RH operates across frequency bands ranging from 320MHz UHF to 6GHz, with software-configurable RF bandwidths from 1.25MHz to 20MHz. It can achieve data rates of up to 87Mbps in a 20MHz bandwidth, making it perfect for transmitting full-motion video, audio, and embedded GPS data over considerable distances while in motion. Additionally, it features built-in encryption and supports both composite and SDI video inputs, ensuring compatibility with DTC’s previous Phase 3, 4, and 5 Mesh products, facilitating a smooth transition and network expansion for current users.

Seamless Integration and Reliability

DTC’s Mesh technology offers robust IP connectivity even in challenging conditions, integrating effortlessly with existing public or private networks. It is notably effective in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) scenarios and is tailored for mission-critical applications, ensuring reliable interaction when it matters most.
