OceanAlpha Unveils Unmanned Surface Vessel Showcase in the middle East
OceanAlpha is set to embark on a year-long exhibition of it’s unmanned surface vessels (USVs) throughout the Middle East, commencing in Doha, Qatar.
Showcasing Advanced Uncrewed Vessels
This tour will highlight a variety of uncrewed vessels, such as the M75 patrol vessel, the L25 marine survey vessel, the SE40 water sampling and monitoring vessel, and the Dolphin 3 clever remote-controlled lifebuoy.
The primary aim of this initiative is to provide potential users with a thorough, hands-on experience of OceanAlpha’s cutting-edge USV technologies, solutions, and applications.
Kickoff Event in Qatar
The exhibition will launch in Qatar, featuring the M75 as the star attraction. From December 22 to December 31, 2024, attendees will witness the M75’s capabilities in Doha’s nearshore waters. Built to withstand the rigorous conditions of offshore oil and gas operations, the M75 boasts a sturdy design and complex autonomous navigation systems, enabling remote operation that reduces personnel risk and considerably cuts operational expenses.
Targeting Key Industries
This showcase is notably aimed at sectors such as offshore oil and gas, offshore wind energy, marine surveying, maritime enforcement, and fishery management.
Participants will have the chance to observe OceanAlpha’s USVs in action, engage in practical trials, and consult with the company’s technical experts to explore customized solutions for seabed mapping, pipeline inspections, offshore wind asset management, and maritime security.
Insights from OceanAlpha’s Leadership
pinestone Shi, General Manager of OceanAlpha, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative: “We are thrilled to present our pioneering uncrewed marine technology to the Middle East.
