RIEGL miniVUX-2UAV: Compact and Efficient

The RIEGL miniVUX-2UAV is a lightweight and compact LiDAR sensor specifically engineered for unmanned platforms with limited space or payload capacities. It boasts a laser pulse repetition rate (PRR) of 100 kHz and 200 kHz. At 200 kHz PRR, this sensor can achieve up to 200,000 measurements per second, resulting in a dense point cloud ideal for UAV applications that necessitate the capture of small objects.

Advanced Waveform-LiDAR Technology

RIEGL’s proprietary Waveform-LiDAR technology enables echo digitization and real-time waveform processing, offering multi-target resolution that can penetrate dense vegetation. The miniVUX-2UAV is also optimized for measuring snowy and icy terrains. It features mechanical and electrical interfaces for external IMU integration, with data storage options on an easily accessible SD card or streaming via LAN-TCP/IP.

RIEGL VUX-240: high-Speed Airborne scanning

the RIEGL VUX-240 is a lightweight airborne laser scanner compatible with fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs, as well as unmanned helicopters. With scanning speeds reaching up to 400 lines per second, this system efficiently covers extensive areas, even when deployed from fast-moving UAVs.

Its 75-degree field of view and rapid data acquisition rate of up to 1.8 MHz make it particularly suitable for high point density corridor mapping applications. The advanced Waveform-lidar technology ensures echo digitization, online waveform processing, and multi-target capabilities, allowing it to penetrate dense foliage effectively.

RIEGL VQ-840-G: Bathymetric and Topographic surveying

The RIEGL VQ-840-G is a compact laser scanner designed for integrated bathymetric and topographic surveying. This system can be equipped with an optional factory-calibrated GNSS/IMU system and can be enhanced with a camera or infrared rangefinder.Its visible green laser facilitates water penetration, enabling high-resolution surveys of underwater topography and submerged targets.

With a measurement rate of up to 200 kHz and a scanning speed of 100 scans per second, the VQ-840-G offers extraordinary spatial resolution. It supports concurrent full waveform storage for all measurements, making it ideal for various applications, including coastline mapping, hydraulic engineering surveys, and hydro-archaeological investigations.

RIEGL miniVUX-1DL: Tailored for Corridor Mapping

The RIEGL miniVUX-1DL is a downward-facing laser scanner designed specifically for corridor mapping tasks,such as the inspection and monitoring of railways,roads,power lines,and other critical infrastructure.

Featuring a 46-degree field of view, this sensor employs a circular scan pattern that ensures excellent point density and distribution.The advanced Waveform-LiDAR technology allows for echo digitization and online waveform processing, with multi-target resolution capabilities for penetrating dense foliage.

RiCOPTER with VUX-SYS: A Thorough Scanning Solution

The RiCOPTER equipped with the VUX-SYS is a ready-to-fly airborne laser scanning UAS that integrates RIEGL’s RiCOPTER UAV with a fully integrated, miniaturized airborne laser scanning system, including the RIEGL VUX-1UAV lidar sensor, a high-performance IMU/GNSS system, and cameras.

This complete system is designed to acquire high-accuracy, high-resolution laser scan and image data for a variety of professional survey applications, such as precision agriculture, forestry, aerial pipeline inspections, and urban habitat surveys.

Enhanced RiCOPTER-M: Increased Payload Capacity

The RiCOPTER-M is an upgraded version of the RiCOPTER multirotor drone, featuring an increased payload capacity of 15 kg. This enhancement allows survey professionals to deploy multiple UAV LiDAR sensors alongside RGB,thermal,and other cameras in a single mission,even in sensitive areas with limited access.

Key safety features include the RiCopterControl redundant flight control system and an ADS-B/Mode-S transponder, enabling the UAV to operate in conjunction with air traffic management and in proximity to manned aircraft. The command and control link operates at 433, 868, or 915 MHz, with the capability to deliver 5.8 GHz video downstream.
