SBG Systems Launches Qinertia 4.2 for Enhanced GNSS & INS Post-Processing

SBG Systems has launched Qinertia 4.2, a significant update to its leading post-processing software, introducing advanced features to enhance workflow efficiency and improve data quality.

Qinertia 4.2 offers full compatibility with the New Ellipse, including support for settings streaming. The update introduces a new processing status and plot feature for immediate quality analysis, along with enhanced geodesy functions, including base station velocity support.

This latest version delivers optimized processing speeds for substantially faster computations and now supports Teledyne Intrepid INS. It is also fully compatible with the latest firmware for Ekinox, Apogee, Navsight, and Quanta.

Key Updates in Qinertia 4.2:

  • PPP Fixed Ambiguity: Achieves centimeter-level accuracy without requiring a base station (currently in beta).
  • Trajectory Smoother: A new RTS smoothing option enhances INS processing by eliminating artifacts while maintaining maximum accuracy.
  • Standalone Lever Arm Estimation Tool: Now available as a free standalone application with an intuitive interface.
  • Advanced VBS Network Creation: Automatic Virtual Base Station creation now features improved base station quality indicators for greater precision and reliability.

These enhancements reportedly make Qinertia 4.2 a preferred post-processing software for professionals demanding accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in GNSS and INS workflows.
