In a recent ceremony held in Washington, D.C., SightLine Applications, a pioneer in embedded video processing solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other autonomous systems, was honored with the prestigious President’s “E” Award for Exports by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross. This accolade is the highest honor bestowed upon U.S. entities for their significant contributions to the growth of American exports, with 48 companies recognized this year.
Secretary Ross commended sightline Applications for its unwavering dedication to expanding its export operations. He noted, “The ‘E’ Awards Committee was especially impressed by the measurable increase in exports as 2015, with the company successfully reaching 34 international markets. SightLine Applications’ accomplishments have played a vital role in bolstering national export initiatives that enhance the U.S. economy and generate jobs for Americans.”

Companies are nominated for the “E” Awards through the U.S.and Foreign Commercial Service, part of the International Trade Management within the Department of Commerce. Key criteria for selection include consistent export growth and the implementation of innovative international marketing strategies that have considerably boosted export figures.
