Manufacturing and testing occur at a state-of-the-art 600-square meter facility in the UK, capable of accommodating both high and low production volumes. Each battery undergoes stringent testing with cutting-edge equipment, including assessments for shock, vibration, thermal performance, electrical integrity, altitude resilience, cell penetration, over-temperature, and short-circuit conditions.

Denchi has also introduced a selection of ready-to-use battery products designed to deliver exceptional reliability in the challenging environments faced by UAVs and unmanned systems.

Specifically engineered for armored vehicles, the 6T Lithium-Ion Battery is perfect for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), utilizing advanced high-power lithium-ion cells that boast impressive energy density. It offers two charging modes: Integrated Charger, which manages charging from a regulated current source, and Bypass Mode, allowing for direct and rapid cell charging.

  • Voltage: 21 – 28.7V
  • Capacity: 85 Ah
  • Energy: 2.142 KWh

The Denchi BB-2590 is a Level 3 smart lithium-ion battery, ideal for high-demand drone and robotics applications, and is equivalent to the military battery NSN 6140-01-490-4316. This robust, waterproof battery provides dual outputs of 14.4V or 28.8V and employs an SMBus interface for communication with the host platform, managing charging from any Level 3 smart charger.

  • Voltage: 20-32.8V (24V mode) and 10–16.4V (12V mode)
  • Capacity: 10.5Ah (28.8V nominal),21.0Ah (14.4V nominal)
  • Energy Density: 302.4 Wh

The lightweight Sparrowhawk lithium-ion batteries are specifically designed for UAVs, powering electronic payloads and providing emergency power to controls in the event of main engine failure. These compact, high-capacity units include internal heating and a variety of safety features, such as health monitoring and protections against overcharging, over- and under-voltage, and over-temperature conditions.

  • Capacity: 48Ah
  • Specific Energy: 145 Wh/kg

The SMV (Small Military Vehicle) Auxiliary Battery is a compact, lightweight solution designed to offer backup power and silent watch capabilities, considerably outperforming traditional lead-acid batteries in terms of runtime. This high-capacity battery incorporates integrated control electronics for optimal efficiency.

  • Voltage: 25.9 V nominal
  • Capacity: 24.8 Ah nominal
  • Specific Energy: 139 Wh/Kg approx.
