Harxon Unveils Next-Gen Helix Antennas for UAVs
During the recent “Precise fly by Harxon” webinar, Harxon introduced five innovative helix antennas, expanding its UAV antenna lineup. This enhancement bolsters Harxon’s ability to cater to flight solution integrators, providing a diverse range of options characterized by exceptional positioning accuracy, reliability, adaptability, and seamless integration.
Commitment to innovation
Over the last few years, Harxon has substantially expanded its UAV positioning solutions, launching two generations of helix antennas that have gained traction among leading industry players. This dedication to innovation is further exemplified by the introduction of a third generation of helix antennas.
Enhanced Performance features
Mr. Leo Wang, Harxon’s GNSS antenna product manager, highlighted three key improvements in the latest generation compared to its predecessors:
1.Compact and Lightweight Design
The new antennas are designed to meet the evolving demands of UAVs, focusing on being smaller, lighter, and more flexible. the HX-CU7005 model, an embedded antenna, weighs a mere 8 grams, with a diameter of 30mm and a height of 34mm. Its PCB compression installation allows for speedy integration into aerial vehicles.
2. Reliable Positioning Performance
The HX-CH7018A, a housed helix antenna, showcases advanced multi-point feeding technology, ensuring high phase center stability and RTK-level accuracy. With Harxon’s proprietary D-QHA technology, it achieves a gain of 2.8dBi across a wide frequency range, making it an essential component for UAV operations.
3. Enhanced Anti-Interference Capabilities
The new models, including HX-CH7018A, HX-CH7609A, and HX-CU7006A, feature optimized circuit layouts that significantly enhance resistance to interference from mobile communication frequencies. This improvement greatly enhances the safety of UAVs. Additionally, the new generation of helix antennas excels in low elevation signal tracking, ensuring dependable performance even in challenging conditions.
