MKS Instruments, Inc. has unveiled its latest innovation: the Ophir SupIR series, which includes three advanced MWIR lenses—30-385mm, 50-700mm, and 80-1200mm—specifically engineered for 15µm pitch VGA Focal Plane Array (FPA) cooled Medium-Wave Infrared (MWIR) detectors.

Robust Design for Challenging Environments
The Ophir SupIR lenses are built to endure extreme conditions, featuring an operational temperature range from -32˚C to +70˚C. They are equipped with Ophir’s renowned abrasion-resistant, anti-reflective coatings, IP 67 sealing, and a mechanical structure designed to withstand intense shock and vibration.

Specifications of the SupIR Lens Family
The Ophir SupIR 30-385mm f/5.5 lens boasts a Horizontal Field of View (H-FOV) ranging from 0.7° to 18.6° with a detection range surpassing 17 kilometers. The SupIR 50-700mm f/5.5 lens features an H-FOV of 0.4°-11.4° and a detection range exceeding 22 kilometers, while the SupIR 80-1200mm f/5.5 lens offers an H-FOV of 0.5° to 7.1° with a detection range exceeding 26 kilometers.
