Hexagon | NovAtel has announced a important advancement in its TerraStar-C PRO GNSS corrections service, achieving Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) accuracy within just three minutes and boasting an impressive 99.999% uptime, all thanks to the groundbreaking RTK From the Sky technology.

Innovative Integration for enhanced Performance

The incorporation of RTK From the Sky technology marks the initial step in enhancing Hexagon | NovAtel’s extensive range of correction services available to users globally. TerraStar-C PRO now stands out as the quickest global correction service, delivering centimeter-level precision not only in open environments but also in areas obstructed by buildings and vegetation.

Advanced Technology for Rapid Convergence

Utilizing cutting-edge quad-band receiver and antenna technology,TerraStar-C PRO achieves convergence in mere minutes by harnessing the latest BeiDou III,GPS III,and Galileo E6 signals. This innovative approach produces top-tier corrections across all GNSS frequencies.

Accessibility and Future Developments

The enhancements to TerraStar-C PRO are now available through the 7.08.10 firmware update for users operating on OEM7700, OEM719, and OEM729 cards, as well as their respective enclosures for applications in land and aerial vehicles, including UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles).Upcoming firmware updates will extend the global RTK From the Sky technology across Hexagon’s correction service offerings, catering to a diverse clientele, including sectors like precision agriculture and marine navigation.
