With this partnership, Wedgetail is now equipped to deliver extensive inspection services utilizing the Xer X8, a robust UAV that boasts a flight duration of 2.5 hours and can carry a payload of up to 3 kilograms.
The Xer X8 is driven by a hybrid fuel-electric propulsion system,making it an optimal choice for extending flight time and operational range,surpassing the limitations of traditional battery-operated drones.
This durable industrial UAV is designed to perform exceptionally in harsh environments, including adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, freezing temperatures, and wind gusts reaching 35 knots. Its applications span across industrial inspections, search and rescue missions, and environmental monitoring efforts.
