Next-Gen everclean Service Robot Unveiled

Greensea IQ has introduced it’s latest and most refined EverClean service robot.

This cutting-edge advancement marks a pivotal shift in the field of reliable autonomous operations, featuring over the Horizon (OTH) capabilities specifically designed for underwater hull maintenance.

As the frist service of its kind, EverClean ensures that ship owners and operators can maintain impeccably clean hulls, whether docked or utilizing onboard systems. this latest iteration leverages 17 years of expertise in control, autonomy, and navigation to tackle the persistent issue of hull fouling.

The recent upgrades highlight Greensea IQ’s dedication to the maritime industry and its mission to minimize carbon emissions by innovatively addressing marine biofouling.

At the heart of the EverClean robots is OPENSEA, Greensea IQ’s extensively enhanced software platform, which empowers these next-gen robots to perform swift and effective hull cleaning operations.

Equipped with features such as depth-assisted navigation, advanced obstacle detection, improved maneuverability, and enhanced user interaction, the EverClean robots offer superior hull-relative navigation. This evolution is crucial for increasing the speed and efficiency of ship cleaning processes.

The robots can autonomously clean areas of up to 50 square meters on a ship’s hull, substantially minimizing the need for operator oversight. They adeptly identify obstacles and pause only when human intervention is necessary. The software now intuitively defines exclusion zones, further reducing the already minimal risk of damage to brushes or coatings.

Along with enhanced intelligence, the new EverClean robots have undergone significant physical upgrades, including an expanded brush deck size.

These improvements enable the EverClean robots to double their cleaning output compared to earlier models, allowing for faster cleaning times and reduced operator supervision, thereby optimizing efficiency and lowering operational costs for clients.

Furthermore, the robots are equipped with upgraded thrusters that significantly enhance responsiveness and control between the operator and the robot. These thrusters have been tested to improve stability, agility, and adaptability in varying conditions.

Additionally, the thrusters are designed for more efficient power usage, optimizing energy distribution within the system. This advancement allows the robots to operate longer on a single charge, reducing the frequency of recharging and maximizing availability.

With the rising demand for sustainable and cost-effective solutions to combat biofouling, it’s noteworthy that the EverClean robots utilize fewer outsourced components than their predecessors. This shift not only lowers production costs but also enhances manufacturability.

A streamlined supply chain with fewer high-risk components leads to shorter production times, enabling quicker responses to market demands.
