Greensea IQ Secures Major Contract for Advanced Navigation system
Greensea IQ has successfully obtained a contract exceeding $2.79 million through Darley, based in Itasca, IL, in collaboration with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) as part of its Tailored Logistics Support Program.
Enhancing Naval Operations with the IQNS System
This agreement will provide the U.S. Navy with the IQNS system, the latest iteration of Greensea IQ’s inertial navigation technology, now upgraded with the EOD Edge feature.This enhancement is designed to bolster the capabilities of the MK20 defender Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) within the Navy’s Maritime Expeditionary Standoff Response (MESR) initiative.
Timely Delivery and Integration
The IQNS system is scheduled for delivery within the next four to six months, equipping the U.S. Navy’s growing fleet of MK20 Defender ROVs with state-of-the-art navigation and autonomy solutions.
Engineered for seamless integration with existing platforms, this system provides a vital upgrade aimed at improving explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) missions, enhancing both precision and operational efficiency.
