Revolutionizing Mapping: The DeltaQuad Evo and YellowScan Surveyor Ultra Integration
The integration of the YellowScan surveyor Ultra LiDAR system, equipped with a built-in camera, into the DeltaQuad Evo has resulted in the generation of 1200 hectares of detailed point clouds, catering to professionals across the globe.
Advanced LiDAR Technology for Enhanced Surveying
The YellowScan Surveyor Ultra OEM represents a cutting-edge, lightweight 360° LiDAR solution featuring a 120° field of view, designed for superior mapping and surveying applications. Its remarkable point density and lightweight design make it an ideal companion for the DeltaQuad Evo Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
DeltaQuad Evo: A Versatile UAV for Long-Distance Missions
The DeltaQuad Evo is a state-of-the-art fixed-wing Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) UAV, engineered for diverse long-range missions. Its modular design allows it to accommodate multiple payloads simultaneously, including the latest yellowscan surveyor Ultra OEM paired with an auxiliary battery. This configuration enables the Evo to operate for up to 225 minutes, collecting as many as 100 data points per square meter. the data processing is streamlined through yellowscan CloudStation software, making it an excellent fit for extensive surveying tasks.
Collaboration and Future Prospects
Earlier this year, both companies celebrated the Evo’s milestone as the first fixed-wing eVTOL UAV to incorporate YellowScan’s LiDAR and RGB systems. Tristan Allouis, co-founder and CEO of YellowScan, expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing partnership: “Incremental advancements are what drive transformative innovations. The integration of the YellowScan Surveyor Ultra OEM into the DeltaQuad Evo is a notable step that broadens the horizons for mapping and surveying professionals.”
Douwe Zeeman, CEO of DeltaQuad, remarked: “It’s gratifying to witness our products empowering professionals across various sectors and regions. With the capability to cover greater distances, they can fully leverage the advantages of colorized LiDAR.”
