TEKEVER and IMSAR Join Forces for Advanced UAV surveillance Solutions
TEKEVER, a leader in the advancement of elegant unmanned aerial systems (UAS), has entered into a two-year collaboration with IMSAR to incorporate Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology into its drone platforms, considerably enhancing their surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.
Innovative Integration for Enhanced ISR Capabilities
This partnership seeks to merge TEKEVER’s innovative UAS designs with IMSAR’s radar technology, aiming to provide advanced airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions suitable for a variety of missions.
Operational Insights and Tactical Refinement
As part of this collaboration, TEKEVER will support IMSAR in refining radar functionalities and strategies, drawing on critical operational insights, including experiences from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The focus will be on optimizing the installation and software integration of IMSAR’s radar systems into both existing and upcoming TEKEVER UAS models.
Complete Support and Marketing strategy
The agreement encompasses a support package that includes preferred partner benefits and volume pricing options, alongside a mutual commitment to promote the combined capabilities of both companies.
Streamlined Mission Management
A standout aspect of this collaboration will be the integration of IMSAR’s Lisa3D mission management suite with TEKEVER’s ATLAS web-based UAV Mission Enhancer. This integration will offer operators a unified and efficient interface for maritime surveillance tasks. IMSAR’s radar systems are notably adept at wide-area vessel detection and tracking moving targets over extended distances, providing accurate targeting data to onboard sensors such as electro-optical and infrared cameras. this close integration will enable TEKEVER’s UAS to broaden their operational scope, enhance data collection, and elevate surveillance capabilities across extensive land and maritime areas.
Leadership Insights on the Partnership
TEKEVER’s CEO, Ricardo Mendes, remarked, “Our collaboration with IMSAR marks a pivotal moment in radar technology. By fusing IMSAR’s state-of-the-art technology with our UAS capabilities, we are redefining the landscape of surveillance and reconnaissance missions while preparing for future radar advancements. This partnership also positions us to address the increasing demand for sophisticated solutions in complex and dynamic operational environments, including military missions and border security.”
Building on a Proven Track Record
This partnership builds on a successful history between TEKEVER and IMSAR, underscored by recent successful demonstrations of the NSP-5 Synthetic Aperture Radar integrated with TEKEVER’s AR5 UAS. These tests highlighted the AR5’s improved target detection capabilities and extended engagement times for electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) systems, establishing a new standard for UAS performance in its category.
