CRP Technology has achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification, highlighting its commitment too globally recognized standards for environmental management systems.
This certification, granted by DNV, pertains to CRP Technology’s production of plastic components via Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and the creation of powders for SLS and other additive manufacturing techniques.
The certified operations are categorized under IAF code 15,which encompasses rubber and plastic products, and were evaluated based on the stipulations of Technical Regulation RT-09.
Obtaining the ISO 14001:2015 certification marks a notable milestone in CRP Technology’s continuous journey to align its manufacturing practices with environmental management standards, focusing on resource efficiency and minimizing environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle.
This achievement complements the company’s existing EN 9100 certification, which pertains to quality management in the aerospace and defense sectors. Together, these certifications reflect a commitment to structured, standards-driven approaches for both quality and environmental management.
In addition,CRP Technology has initiated reuse strategies that align with circular economy principles. A notable example is the recovery and transformation of Windform XT 2.0 powders. After their initial request in SLS 3D printing, these materials are reprocessed into Windform XT 2.0 IMG, making them suitable for injection molding and FDM/FFF 3D printing in pellet form.
Franco cevolini, the CTO and CEO of CRP Technology, stated, “Achieving ISO 14001 certification is a concrete reflection of our industrial strategy, which seeks to merge technological advancement, production efficiency, and environmental stewardship. This is another step forward in our daily commitment to uphold the highest standards of quality and sustainability.”
