Silicon Sensing Systems has announced its participation in the Sensors Converge 2022 trade exhibition, scheduled for June 27 – 29 in San Jose, California. The company will present its comprehensive lineup of MEMS inertial sensors and systems, which include everything from miniature navigation and pointing gyroscopes to compact, tactical-grade 9 degree-of-freedom inertial measurement units (IMUs).
Having delivered millions of units globally, Silicon Sensing is dedicated to providing durable, highly reliable, and high-performance MEMS inertial sensors and systems. Each product is built around the company’s proprietary MEMS gyro technology, with all sensors produced in their Japanese manufacturing facility.
Featured products at Sensors Converge will include:
- Pinpoint – the moast compact gyro from Silicon Sensing, designed for a variety of applications, known for its durability and affordability.
- CMS300 – a sturdy gyro paired with a dual-axis accelerometer, recognized for its remarkable bias and noise performance across temperature variations.
- CRH03 – a newly developed, compact, and rugged stand-alone gyro that maintains stable performance over time and varying temperatures.
- Gemini – a series of high-performance accelerometers that provide accurate dual-axis linear acceleration measurements in a compact, surface-mounted design.
- DMU11 – an economical IMU that offers superior performance for high-volume applications.
- DMU41 – a cutting-edge tactical-grade IMU that boasts market-leading bias instability, all while being 50% smaller, lighter, and more energy-efficient than its predecessor, directly competing with fiber optic-based IMUs.
Steve Capers, the General Manager of Silicon Sensing, stated: “Our team is continuously pushing the limits of performance for our silicon MEMS sensors and systems. Current analyses indicate that our small, lightweight, and low-power devices can achieve performance levels comparable to much larger, heavier, and pricier fiber optic units, notably in critical areas like bias instability and angle random walk.”
“Our diverse product range offers reliable and cost-effective solutions for inertial needs across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, and consumer markets. We eagerly anticipate exploring numerous new opportunities at Sensors Converge this June.”
