Acecore Technologies,a prominent designer and manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems (UAS),has announced the renewal of its collaboration with Workswell,a leader in thermal imaging technology. This partnership aims to create European-made alternatives to existing drone and camera solutions tailored for the global UAS market.
WorkswellS infrared cameras are renowned globally, featuring impressive specifications such as a resolution of 1280 x 1024,optical zoom capabilities of up to 10x,and a radiometric temperature measurement range reaching 1,500°C. These cameras can be operated remotely via Workswell’s WIRIS OS, which enhances their functionality for security and measurement tasks, thereby expanding their metrological applications. All UAV-series cameras from Workswell come equipped with WIRIS OS,ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
Acecore has developed specialized UAS models for each of Workswell’s infrared camera offerings, including the GIS320 gas detection camera and the dual-sensor WIRIS Security system. These extensive solutions consist of a drone paired with a camera, along with essential accessories such as gimbals, transmitters, and video links. Customers can purchase these ready-to-fly bundles through Acecore, Workswell sales channels, and authorized distributors.
The Neo and Zoe multirotor drones from Acecore are constructed from premium materials, designed to provide a durable and adaptable solution for various applications, including cinematography, inspections, aerial surveys, and security operations. With lightweight carbon fiber frames and powerful motors, these drones can carry payloads of up to 9 kg while maintaining a maximum takeoff weight of just under 25 kg. Both models are equipped with a smart module that integrates GPS and flight data directly into the captured images, optimizing Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) accuracy.
Youri van Helden, Acecore’s marketing manager, remarked: “Our collaboration with Workswell infrared cameras began when we identified the potential in the thermal inspection sector for power lines, solar panels, and wind turbines. By integrating the first-generation WIRIS dual-sensor camera as a payload option for our drones, we were able to offer a comprehensive solution. Renewing our partnership allows us to collaborate more closely and leverage Workswell’s expanded product offerings.”
adam Svestka, Head of Global Business Development at Workswell, emphasized: “A thermal camera payload requires a stable and professional UAV to meet customer expectations. The partnership between Workswell and Acecore delivers complete UAV systems that encompass all necessary components for professional applications, including the drone, thermal payload, gimbal, controller, and RTK capabilities. Customers receive a fully integrated solution that enables them to perform their tasks efficiently and accurately, without the need for additional accessories or software.”
