Trakka Systems Enhances Surveillance Capabilities with New Camera Delivery
Trakka Systems has recently revealed the deployment of two TrakkaCam TC-375 long-range electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) multi-sensor surveillance camera systems, specifically designed for 2Excel’s fleet of specialized mission aircraft.
utilization of advanced Aircraft for Target Identification
The Diamond Aircraft DA62 MP, a fixed-wing aircraft, will be employed to effectively locate and identify targets over maritime environments.
Innovative Features of the TC Series
The latest TC series from Trakka Systems showcases cutting-edge technology within a user-pleasant industrial design, establishing new benchmarks for full HD (1080p) long-range multispectral imaging in a Non-ITAR single-LRU configuration.
Equipped with EO/IR sensors, the camera system incorporates advanced image processing capabilities, allowing it to penetrate challenging environmental conditions such as fog, haze, low light, and complete darkness.

Enhanced Functionality and Integration
The TC-375 features a high-speed digital video engine integrated within the single-LRU gimbal, offering various standard and optional functionalities. Among these is the Moving Target Indicator (MTI) with Drone Detection Mode, wich enhances system efficiency and minimizes operator workload.
This camera system boasts improved interfaces that facilitate seamless integration with third-party equipment, featuring embedded dual-stream H264 video with KLV metadata transmitted over Ethernet. This innovation eliminates the need for external encoders, simplifying integration with Moving Map and datalink systems.
Real-Time Data Sharing and Situational Awareness
These capabilities empower operators and command centers to exchange mission-critical data in real-time, considerably enhancing situational awareness through augmented reality overlays or purely synthetic views.
2Excel’s Diverse Clientele and Mission scope
2Excel serves a wide range of clients, including government agencies, oil companies, airlines, and aviation brokers. The company is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to complex aviation challenges, encompassing advanced capability growth, special missions, charter services, and large aircraft maintenance.
Statements from Leadership
“The addition of these DA62 MPPs strengthens our fleet of specialized mission aircraft, allowing us to meet the demands of our expanding customer base. Our teams are undergoing training to maximize the effectiveness of these aircraft, ensuring we maintain the high service standards our clients expect from 2Excel Aviation,” stated Arnie Palmer, Director of Special Missions at 2Excel Aviation.
“We are thrilled that the TrakkaCam TC-375 has been chosen for this prestigious program. We value the chance to assist 2Excel in fulfilling the rigorous mission requirements of this initiative,” remarked Adam Boniecki, business Development Manager at Trakka Systems.
