Alpha Unmanned Systems, a pioneer in the unmanned helicopter sector, has successfully completed its inaugural seed funding round. This capital infusion will be directed towards advancing product innovation and bolstering sales and marketing initiatives.
Having established a presence in nine countries and continuing to expand, this marks the first instance of external investment since the company was founded nearly a decade ago.
the funding round was spearheaded by Dr. Joseph Menaker, a co-founder of UAV Factory.

Additional investors in this seed round included Tobias Webster, the former CEO of UAVNavigation and the current Director of International Buisness Progress at Alpha, along with Javier Castaño, co-founder of Agnitio and the current CFO of Alpha.
Alpha’s latest innovation, the Alpha 900, is specifically engineered for operations in marine environments. Equipped with a robust combustion engine, it boasts a flight duration of up to four hours while carrying payloads of up to four kilograms. The A900 is capable of autonomous takeoff and landing from moving vessels, even in confined spaces. Designed to be ‘STANAG Compliant’, it features redundant critical systems, making it an optimal choice for naval forces, coast guards, and intelligence operations, as well as for surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance missions at sea.
