Neousys Technology has unveiled the NRU-171V-PPC and NRU-172S-PPC, two innovative AI panel PCs equipped with NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX or Orin™ Nano technology.
Designed with an IP66 rating for water and dust resistance, the NRU-170-PPC series serves as a comprehensive solution tailored for edge AI applications that necessitate human interaction. This encompasses areas such as autonomous transportation, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for off-road vehicles, and edge inspection tasks that require human validation.
Leveraging the capabilities of the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX or Orin™ Nano, the NRU-170-PPC series achieves up to 100 INT8 TOPS, making it ideal for AI-driven visual applications in challenging environments.
To ensure versatility in various semi-outdoor conditions, these new panel PCs are equipped with a 10.1″ touchscreen that boasts a brightness of 1000 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, along with enhanced single-finger touch sensitivity for operation in wet environments.
Offered in two distinct configurations, the NRU-171V-PPC accommodates up to six GMSL2 automotive cameras with built-in camera drivers, while the NRU-172S-PPC features four PoE+ GbE ports with M12 connectors, suitable for IP or industrial GigE cameras.
These advanced AI panel PCs also support fanless operation in MAXN mode without performance throttling, ensuring dependable functionality in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 60°C.
Moreover, a waterproof GbE port facilitates seamless connections to external computers or LiDAR systems, making them perfect for applications in transportation, agriculture, and factory automation.
Kaichu Wu, Product Manager at Neousys Technology, stated, “The NRU-170-PPC series is specifically designed for ADAS applications in off-road sectors such as construction, agriculture, forestry, and mining.”
“The IP66 waterproof rating, combined with shock and vibration resistance from M12 connectors, significantly boosts durability and reliability for outdoor use. The integrated 10.1″ touch panel, onboard PoE+ GbE, GMSL2 camera connectivity, ignition power control, and options for 4G/5G module expansion make it a compact yet comprehensive solution for in-vehicle AI applications.”
