Griffon Aerospace has selected Volz Servos’ actuators for its innovative hybrid-electric surveillance and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the Valiant, utilizing their precise actuators and servos for the UAV’s control surfaces and rotor tilt mechanisms.

The Valiant, an autonomous vertical take-off and landing UAV, maintains its trajectory accurately thanks to Volz actuators at the control surfaces. A specially designed, compact Volz servo facilitates the tilt mechanism, allowing for seamless transitions between vertical take-off and cruising flight, ensuring smooth landings and take-offs.

Beyond its reliable tilt mechanisms and precise navigation, the UAV is equipped with strategic capabilities as an integral unit-level asset, featuring a functional system for easy payload swaps and notable endurance. Clients can depend on the accurate autonomous steering provided by Volz’s high-quality actuator technology.
