ANELLO Photonics, renowned for its SiPhOG™ technology, has secured a Phase II SBIR contract wiht the U.S. army, focusing on integrated silicon photonics solutions for navigation in environments lacking GPS.
Over the next eighteen months, ANELLO will showcase its groundbreaking silicon photonics optical gyroscope and sensor fusion technologies, specifically designed for navigation in GPS-denied settings.
This Phase II SBIR contract allows ANELLO to present its state-of-the-art integrated silicon photonics technology, along with products powered by the ANELLO AI-driven sensor fusion engine. this collaboration aims to ensure that U.S. Army platforms achieve precise navigation even in challenging environments where GPS is unavailable.
Dr. Mario Paniccia, the CEO of ANELLO Photonics, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with the U.S. Army and provide them with access to our pioneering SiPhOG technology.”
“This program will enable the U.S. Army to directly assess and experience the advantages of ANELLO’s products for navigation in contested or GPS-denied environments.”
