Introducing the LandMark™ 50 Vertical Gyro: A Leap in Precision Technology
Gladiator Technologies has unveiled the latest addition to its esteemed LandMark™ 50 product line: the LandMark™ 50 Vertical Gyro (VG). This innovative VG enhances the legacy of the company’s low-noise VG series, which includes models such as the LandMark™ 10, 20, 21, 22, 30, and 40. While maintaining compatibility in form, fit, and function with the LandMark™ 30 VG, the new model significantly boosts performance through the integration of cutting-edge MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers.
Unmatched accuracy and Versatility
All LandMark™ VGs rely solely on gyroscopes and accelerometers to precisely determine pitch and roll angles, eliminating the need for additional sensor inputs. The device supports a broad input voltage range from +6V to +36V, making it adaptable for various applications. Each VG in the series utilizes a standardized messaging protocol, promoting a “common cockpit” approach. This allows users to select the VG that best fits their performance, size, weight, and budget requirements without the need to modify existing interface software. The LandMark™ 50 not only delivers outstanding accuracy in pitch and roll angle outputs but also features ultra-low noise and bias, alongside the rich functionalities of its predecessors. Additionally, it boasts robust environmental sealing for electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and offers user-selectable RS485 data rates of 100Hz, with an internal sampling rate of 4 kHz.
