Introducing Harxon’s Advanced Rugged GNSS Antennas for challenging environments

harxon has unveiled a cutting-edge series of robust GNSS antennas tailored to withstand the rigors of shock and vibration, making them ideal for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) utilized in sectors like agriculture and construction.This innovative product range features the HX-CVX600A and HX-CVX603A models.

State-of-the-Art Technology for Enhanced Performance

the latest offerings from Harxon leverage their proprietary positioning antenna technology, which is compatible with all satellite constellations and full frequency bands, including L-Band correction services. Utilizing advanced multi-point feeding technology, these antennas maintain a remarkably stable phase center with millimeter-level PCV repeatability, ensuring high gain even at lower elevation angles. Additionally, a filtered low noise amplifier (LNA) effectively reduces out-of-band signal interference, enhancing overall signal stability.

Engineered for Durability in Harsh conditions

To create antennas capable of performing in extreme environments, Harxon’s engineering team meticulously redesigned the antenna structures, focusing on features that mitigate shock and vibration. They optimized the layout of the antenna PCBs to minimize dynamic deflection, adopt a streamlined profile, enhance damping capabilities, and bolster overall reliability.

Innovative Materials for Superior Protection

The upper casing of the HX-CVX600A rugged GNSS antenna is crafted from a groundbreaking material that offers low density, excellent dimensional stability across a broad temperature range, minimal warping, and outstanding long-term weather resistance, all while maintaining optimal GNSS signal reception. The antenna’s lower cover is constructed from a lightweight aluminum alloy, making it suitable for environments exposed to shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, rain, snow, and sunlight. Furthermore,the housing boasts an IP67 ingress protection rating,ensuring robust performance.

Rigorous Testing to Meet Industry Standards

Harxon rigorously evaluates it’s rugged GNSS antennas against stringent industrial standards by accurately simulating the operational conditions faced by ground vehicles in precision agriculture, smart construction, and mapping applications.
