By utilizing the continuous and precise fuel level data from the LS800, the Ottano can achieve greater distances and longer flight times.

The Reventec LS800 is a high-precision capacitive fuel level sensor embedded within the Fuel Safe fuel cell used in all Ottano drones. This technology significantly extends the operational range, allowing UAS operators to gather more surveillance data per flight by maximizing fuel efficiency. The compact AN-8 threaded mounting design and flying lead facilitate seamless integration with the Carbonix wiring system.

Designed to withstand harsh conditions, the ultra-lightweight fuel sensor boasts high resistance to vibration and shock, making it ideal for various UAV applications. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C (with higher variants available up to +150°C), providing an analog output that ranges from 0.25V when empty to 4.75V when full. To ensure extraordinary accuracy of +/-0.5% of the reading, all calibration is performed at the factory using the specific fuel intended for use. The LS800’s versatility allows it to be utilized across multiple UAV platforms and other vehicles requiring rapid and precise measurement of dielectric fluids.
