The Talon DT-300 is an exceptionally adaptable multi-mission VTOL UAS, designed for easy reconfiguration to fulfill diverse operational roles. Its distinctive dual-rotor architecture, inspired by the CH-47 Chinook cargo helicopter, delivers outstanding performance across various metrics, including payload capacity, operational range, and minimal radar and acoustic signatures.
The lightweight carbon composite structure of the Talon DT-300 is foldable, enhancing its portability and convenience. This design allows it to be easily transported by two individuals in a standard estate vehicle.
Equipped with a nextvision Raptor EO/IR gimbal, the Talon DT-300 excels in ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) tasks, including target detection, identification, and tracking. With a payload capacity of 45 kg, it can also function as a mothership, launching smaller FPV drones directly from its modular carrier rack.
The Talon DT-300X represents a hybrid evolution of the DT-300, featuring Rotron’s RT150 aero-engine, wich operates on hydrocarbon fuel to recharge electric batteries, extending flight duration and enhancing range.This model can achieve flight times of up to 5 hours and cover distances of 400 km, making it suitable for various missions, including extended ISTAR, logistics support, and deep strike operations.
The RT150 engine can be easily detached, allowing the DT-300X to transition into a fully electric UAV.
Meanwhile, the Talon DT-150 is a compact, fully electric unmanned helicopter designed as a smaller alternative to the DT-300. With a maximum payload of 22.5 kg, it is perfect for cargo transport and various sensor-driven applications such as surveillance, inspection, and monitoring. This versatile aircraft can also serve as a mothership for deploying up to three smaller FPV drones.
With an IP67 rating, this UAS is built to withstand challenging weather conditions, providing exceptional stability and control even in high winds or turbulent environments. Its foldable design, complete with detachable rotor blades, allows for easy packing into a transport case that fits within a standard SUV.
