uAvionix Partners with CubePilot to Enhance Drone Autopilot Solutions
uAvionix has forged a strategic partnership with CubePilot, enabling the latter’s extensive reseller network to offer the complete George Autopilot Ecosystem and integration kits directly to end-users.
Introducing the George Autopilot Ecosystem
The George autopilot Ecosystem is built on the Cube autopilot platform, which is widely utilized in autonomous drones and unmanned systems globally. This innovative system merges the adaptability of open-source design with the reliability of certifiable DAL-C hardware. The integration kits encompass the george autopilot, uAvionix GPS, microLink CNPC radios, antennas, connectors, and power adapters, ensuring a secure and user-friendly command and control system for complex drone operations.
A Strong Collaborative History
uAvionix and CubePilot have maintained a fruitful collaboration, beginning with the integration of uAvionix’s customized 1090MHz ADS-B receivers into cubepilot’s ADS-B carrier board. With either the CubePilot Orange or Blue at the heart of the George system, all uAvionix components function harmoniously, catering to both smaller operators and commercial or governmental clients pursuing certification.
Access to a Range of UAS Products
The CubePilot reseller network will also gain access to a variety of uAvionix’s certified and non-certified UAS products. This includes the TSO-certified truFYX WAAS GPS, which ensures aviation-grade GPS integrity, the TSO-certified ping200X transponder, the pingRX Pro airborne receiver, and the dual-band pingStation3 ground receiver, all designed to support Detect & Avoid capabilities. Utilizing certified avionics alongside the George autopilot will streamline the type certification process and enhance safety,as TSO-certified avionics typically do not require additional performance evaluations from regulators.
