Introducing the Voliro T Version 5: Experience Cutting-Edge 5G Connectivity and Enhanced Motor Control!

The Voliro T Version 5 features real-time 5G data transfer, flight controller, tail motor and tail propeller, and increased flight time

Voliro has unveiled the Voliro T version 5, featuring cutting-edge software and hardware enhancements tailored to surpass the stringent requirements of the Non-destructive Testing (NDT) sector.

Following over five years of rigorous development and collaboration with NDT professionals, the company is proud to present a more resilient, dependable, and complex model.

Seamless 5G Connectivity for Instant Data Exchange

The integration of a 5G module facilitates instantaneous data exchange with the Voliro Cloud. this advancement supports health monitoring, proactive maintenance, and effortless software updates, streamlining the management of inspection data. For sectors that depend on rapid and precise data—such as wind energy, offshore platforms, and remote industrial locations—this upgrade is crucial for enhancing proactive maintenance, productivity, and flexibility during inspections.

Enhanced Motor Control for Improved Safety

The flight controller now gathers facts from the Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs), enabling early identification of potential motor issues. This additional safety feature allows operators to address concerns proactively, minimizing downtime and boosting operational efficiency.

Revamped Flight Controller

Equipped with a triple-redundant, thermally regulated Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and an advanced vibration isolation system, the new flight controller guarantees remarkable processing capabilities for accuracy and flight stability, even in GPS-denied areas, high-altitude conditions, and strong winds. Coupled with a new Ethernet interface, this upgrade substantially enhances data transmission speed, providing operators with greater control and facilitating seamless workflows during challenging inspections.

Upgraded Tail Motor and propeller

The newly designed tail motor and propeller enhance performance by improving wind resistance and responsiveness, allowing for greater precision during complex maneuvers.

Refined Controller Tuning

the improved controller tuning allows for more direct responses to operator commands. It also enhances stability control in turbulent conditions, thereby boosting overall performance in windy environments.

Revitalized Electronics in the Voliro T Version 5

A extensive redesign includes newly crafted printed circuit boards (pcbs), upgraded antennas, and optimized antenna configurations. These improvements significantly enhance system reliability and performance, particularly for First-Person View (FPV) cameras, minimizing the likelihood of video stream disruptions.

Strengthened Components

The selection of higher-quality materials has bolstered durability and stability, ensuring that the Voliro T excels in its tasks at height while withstanding harsh conditions, whether inspecting corroded structures, high-temperature facilities, or operating in strong winds and elevated environments.

  • More robust materials for the shell and structural components
  • Enhanced leg mount design using high-impact resistant Polyamide for smoother landings
  • New lightweight LED bumpers engineered to endure high-impact scenarios
  • Redesigned camera tower for improved video stabilization during flights
  • Corrosion-resistant Torx screws for easier maintenance and extended lifespan
  • Upgraded payload bayonet with tighter mechanical tolerances and sturdier materials, ensuring a more reliable connection when attaching or detaching from an active Voliro T

A Lighter and More Agile Voliro T

Along with its enhanced internal components, the Voliro T Version 5 boasts extended flight durations and improved flight dynamics due to the following optimizations:

extended Flight Duration

The overall design has been reduced by 250g, enhancing flight dynamics and prolonging flight times.

Optimized Voliro Assembly

  • Bumpers: upgraded locking mechanism for simpler assembly and disassembly
  • Tail: more intuitive locking system with a stronger hold

The launch of the Voliro T version 5 signifies a pivotal advancement in aerial inspection technology. As industries confront increasingly complex challenges, from maintaining aging infrastructure to ensuring safety in hazardous environments, the demand for efficient, safer, and more reliable inspection solutions is set to rise. With Voliro’s unwavering commitment to innovation and technological progress, the new Voliro T Version 5 is engineered to meet these evolving needs and establish new benchmarks in the NDT inspection arena.
