Revolutionizing Measurement: The Hybrid CTD Sensor Unveiled!

revolutionary Hybrid CTD Sensor by D-2

D-2’s innovative Hybrid CTD sensor employs a groundbreaking method for measuring conductivity that merges the strengths of both electrode and inductive sensing techniques. this results in remarkable accuracy and precision, capable of operating at depths reaching 11,000 meters. Additionally, the sensor features a high-resolution strain-gauge pressure sensor, state-of-the-art solid-state electronics, and advanced signal processing, along with a selection of top-tier temperature sensors.

Compact and efficient Design

The proprietary technology behind this sensor allows for a more streamlined and lightweight construction, making it particularly suitable for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and robotic underwater systems. Notably, the design facilitates free-flushing capabilities, eliminating the need for a pump in most applications.

Unmatched Features and Connectivity

The Hybrid CTD sensor boasts an extensive array of features that set it apart from any other deep-sea CTD sensing solution available today. With high-speed sampling options, users can select rates of up to 25 Hz. Furthermore, it supports the integration of additional third-party sensors through A/D and serial interfaces. Data transmission options include USB, RS-232, or RS-485, and it can also be sent via wire line using commercially available telemetry systems.

Durable Construction for Varied Environments

This robust sensor can be customized with aluminum, stainless steel, or titanium housings to accommodate various depth and environmental conditions. Specialized custom and OEM versions are also available, allowing for tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of your underwater vehicle.
