The Trimble APX RTX is a streamlined, single-board solution for direct georeferencing, crafted to empower drone manufacturers and payload developers to achieve mapping accuracy within centimeters more swiftly and efficiently. This innovative system leverages real-time CenterPoint RTX correction services via satellite or cellular networks, eliminating the necessity for base stations or ground control points. It incorporates advanced MEMS inertial sensors to deliver precise measurements of roll,pitch,and heading.
Equipped with a specialized connector, the board facilitates seamless integration of an external IMU, enhancing gimbal mount support or enabling high-precision orientation measurements.
Included with the APX RTX is a subscription to Centerpoint RTX Complete, which ensures real-time and post-mission centimeter-level positioning accuracy, all without the need for additional licensing fees. The product is available in four distinct models tailored for various applications:
- APX-15 RTX: The entry-level variant featuring onboard IMU-103,perfect for low-altitude and line-of-sight operations.
- APX-20 RTX: This model comes with onboard IMU-104, making it suitable for higher-altitude flights and low-noise mapping sensors.
- APX-30 RTX: Incorporating both onboard IMU-104 and external IMU-93,this model enhances orientation performance for extended BVLOS flights.
- APX-50 RTX: Featuring onboard IMU-104 and external IMU-95, this model allows UAVs to effectively replace conventional manned flights at high altitudes over long distances.
