We are excited to announce the integration of the groundbreaking drone-enabled Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) payload,developed in collaboration wiht our partners at Sixpec.

Set to launch soon, the innovative Voliro PEC payload has undergone accomplished trials at a refinery, showcasing its ability to identify early signs of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) even with insulation thicknesses reaching up to 100 mm.

This advanced PEC payload boasts distinctive features such as an innovative probe design, effective noise shielding and cancellation, along with specialized algorithms that guarantee precise measurements through considerable layers of coatings and corrosion.

Pulsed Eddy Current technology represents a cutting-edge approach in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) aimed at identifying defects like Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) in insulated metallic structures. By generating brief, high-energy electromagnetic pulses, PEC systems can effectively penetrate various materials, including coatings and insulation, to uncover concealed corrosion or metal degradation without the need for direct contact.
