The RW1-300C is a hybrid drone propulsion unit featuring a Wankel rotary engine with integrated transmission and variable pitch propeller hub, as well as an 11kW generator and a reversible electric booster/starter. Providing low vibration and noise levels, the system is ideal for fixed-wing and VTOL UAVs with significant electrical power requirements.

The unit features twin fuel pumps and pressure regulators for enhanced reliability. The engine can run on a wide range of fuel grades, including aviation/automotive gasoline and heavy fuels such as aviation kerosene and jet fuel.

The use of modern materials and manufacturing processes in the RW1-300C has eliminated issues traditionally seen with Wankel rotary systems. The outer surfaces have been hard anodized and primed, and all connectors are sealed and mil-spec.
