Safety and Maintenance Features
This system is equipped with multiple safety redundancies and is capable of executing hundreds of launches with minimal upkeep. The elastic components are securely housed within the launcher tube, substantially reducing the risk of injury to operators or damage to equipment in the event of a band failure.
Durable Construction and Customization Options
Constructed from high-quality, CNC-machined aluminum and stainless steel, the Scorpion features a marine-grade pulley system and a powder-coated finish for enhanced durability. An optional 12V electric winch can be integrated to achieve full tension in approximately 60 seconds. ElevonX also offers customization options for the carriage and foldable arms, allowing for compatibility with various platforms, including tailored adapters for specific UAV models.
