Advanced Navigation Solutions for Drones by Honeywell
Honeywell has developed a cutting-edge navigation system for unmanned aerial vehicles (uavs) that integrates the Compact Inertial Navigation System (INS) with the GPSdome anti-jamming technology. This combination guarantees dependable drone navigation even during GNSS disruptions, in challenging environments like urban canyons, and against intentional threats such as GPS jamming and spoofing.
The tactical-grade Compact INS is designed to deliver precise navigation within a compact size and low weight, making it suitable for a diverse range of drone applications. with the addition of Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) corrections via a 4G LTE modem, accuracy can be enhanced to centimeter-level precision.
This innovative INS can be effortlessly integrated with the Pixhawk 2.1 Cube autopilot series and the ardupilot Mission Planner graphical user interface, ensuring a smooth operational experience.
