The Penguin B is an adaptable unmanned aerial system (UAS) designed to offer system integrators a plethora of configuration possibilities. This aircraft is launched using a pneumatic catapult and features a versatile payload mount, making it suitable for various military, commercial, and research purposes.
Standard configurations of the Penguin B include:
- Basic Airframe: delivered without an engine, this option comes with a replaceable payload mount, pre-installed main landing gear, a steerable nose leg, a spinner, and GPS capabilities.
- EFI Engine: this configuration includes a complete electronic fuel injection engine assembly, featuring a 7500cc fuel tank that allows for over 20 hours of flight time.
- VTOL Configuration: equipped with booms and propellers for hybrid vertical takeoff and landing capabilities, this package also includes a parachute system, battery packs, a propulsion module, and a replacement datalink.
