The UP12 is an innovative 12-inch underactuated variable-pitch propeller specifically crafted for compact industrial drones and UAVs. Its distinctive architecture includes a hub that pivots at a 45-degree angle through its center of mass, along with two blades linked by flapping hinges. this configuration allows the propeller to generate thrust while simultaneously providing roll and pitch torques across two axes.

This advanced design grants three degrees of freedom using only a single motor and propeller,leading to improved efficiency and streamlined propulsion systems. This innovation opens the door to entirely new UAV designs. The UP12 is designed to work seamlessly with the Vertiq 23-06 2200Kv propulsion module, which features pulsing firmware and utilizes Vertiq’s proprietary IQUART flight controller interface.
